The Staff at Loudoun Physical Therapy
It is our goal to create a meaningful physical therapy experience for you. Our team of experienced licensed physical therapists are experts in all areas of outpatient and orthopedic physical therapy. We use a combination of manual therapy and movement and functional integration therapies to help restore your good health. We want you to remember, this therapy is for you and we are here to be part of your recovery team. We will guide you through a healing and learning process, and with the new skills you acquire, you will be able to make the changes in your physical health you are looking for.
Genevieve Griffin, PT, DPT, OCS, GCFP
Owner, Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
Genny graduated from Shenandoah University in 1993 with a Master of Physical Therapy degree and later returned to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2004. Since then, she has become a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist, a Gild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, and has also received her certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling and a Private Practice Management Certificate. Genny has taken advanced training in Pilates for Rehabilitation and Physical Mind Mat and Apparatus Concentration programs. She also has extensive Manual Therapy, Myofascial Release, Cranial-Sacral and Osteopathic-Based advanced training. Outside of work, Genny enjoys traveling, visiting family, yoga, hiking, the outdoors and spending time with her 2 golden retrievers, Belle and Sissy. She also enjoys cooking international dishes, especially Persian dishes. Genny wishes to one day take dance lessons at Arthur Murray with her husband, Mike, "to prove he doesn't have two left feet".
Cindy Davis, MSPT
Senior Physical Therapist
Cindy graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Community and Health Wellness as well as Athletic Training. In 1997, she graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. Cindy specializes in sports rehabilitation, SI and spine joint mobilization, and Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) therapy. She has also received her certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling in October of 2010. This Loudoun County native has also lived in Atlanta, Georgia treating professional athletes. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys bicycling, reading, volunteering in the Loudoun community, traveling all over the world, and taking care of her two sons and attending their sports activities. You may see her around our clinic humming her favorite song, "Hurt So Good" by John Cougar Mellencamp.
Kim Smith, MSPT
Physical Therapist
Kim graduated from Brigham Young University and later went on to get her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado. Kim joined the Loudoun Physical Therapy team in September of 2011. Outside of work, Kim enjoys doing activities with her kids, reading, exercising, sewing, crafts, and cooking. She also likes to challenge herself with logic problems and puzzles as well as getting lost in reading mystery novels.
Mary Stewart
Physical Therapist
Mary graduated from Texas Tech University prior to receiving a degree in Physical Therapy at Texas Women's University. She later joined the Loudoun Physical Therapy family in October of 2011. This Dallas, Texas native specializes in treating balance patients and is interested in furthering her education to specialize in manual therapy and possibly becoming an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Outside of work, Mary enjoys yoga, wine tasting, traveling, and the outdoors.
Mike Sedehi
Vice President at Loudoun Physical Therapy
Mike graduated with magna cum-laude honors from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in 1980 and a Master of Science in Engineering and Computer Science in 1982. He has been with Loudoun Physical Therapy since its inception in 1996, but formally joined the Loudoun Physical Therapy family full-time in 1998. Throughout the last 13 years, Mike has attended many of the American Physical Therapy Association annual Private Practice Section meetings and other continuing education courses related to physical therapy practice management. He is currently attending a one-year Executive Management Training Program through Evidence in Motion. Outside of work, Mike enjoys biking, skiing, reading and traveling. To unwind over the weekend, Mike loves to hang out in the garden and do yard work.
Swarna Reddy
Business Development Manager
Swarna joined Loudoun Physical Therapy in December 2011. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and then went onto graduate with a Master of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. More recently, she has completed certification in Medical Office Management and an Executive Healthcare Management course from Loyola University, Chicago. Besides her professional qualifications, Swarna has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. This includes successful leadership roles with leading healthcare teams in the UK.
In her spare time, Swarna enjoys reading, playing/watching tennis, listening to music and likes to travel.
Jacqueline Ball
Administrative Assistant
Jackie is one of our Administrative Assistants and the first smiling face you will see when you walk into our clinic. She has been a member of the Loudoun Physical Therapy team since 2008 and has a certification in Medical Billing and Coding. Outside of work, Jackie likes to volunteer in the community. She is also working to improve her American Sign Language skills to communicate with the deaf.
Nenita Thompson
Physical Therapy Technician
Nenita graduated from St. Paul College in Manila, Philippines where she became a Registered Nurse. She has since received her Office Assistant Certification from Northern Virginia Community College and her Certificate in Accounting Foundation from the University Of Maryland University College. When she finds the time, Nenita enjoys gardening, sewing, crocheting and quilting. She also likes to go on nature walks and exploring new places. Nenita and husband Derrick are in the midst of raising their 2 teenage daughters.
Lauren Williams
Physical Therapy Technician
Lauren graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise, Sport and Health Education, concentrating in Sports Medicine. There, she was a Division I student-athlete, assisting the Woman's Softball team to the first two conference championships in program history. She plans to continue with school to become a physical therapist. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys running, lifting, hanging out with friends and family, and playing catch with her dog, Molly.
Harrison Pham
Physical Therapy Technician
Harrison graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Exercise Science. He loves working with patients in the healthcare sector-connecting people at a personal level to learn about an individual's experience, as well as his honing clinical skills to improve himself as a provider. His time spent outside of the workplace include traveling around the country; viewing art exhibitions at museums; attending live concert venues; playing piano compositions; baking sweet delicacies and dancing.
